Showcase your Polaroid at upcoming Quilt Show

I came up with the idea of making a Polaroid from some of my favourite fabrics when I spotted my daughter sorting through some of her photos that she had printed on her tiny mobile printer. I wanted to find the perfect print that would reflect who I am and what I love.

To my delight I found this darling scrap from a box that was mailed to me some time ago by another quilting friend. I immediately went to work creating a border and backing to showcase this sweet sewing girl. Then I thought, wouldn’t it be perfect if all my quilting friends made their own Polaroid, sent it to me, and I strung them up at my upcoming Quilt Show?!

If you would like to join in the fun, check out my YouTube channel for instructions on how I made mine, package it up and send it to me so I can include it at the show in June!

Here’s what you need to know:

Your Polaroid should measure approximately 3 1/2” wide by 4 1/2” tall. It can be a little bigger or a little smaller, but as close to this measurement as possible. Choose something for the center that reflects who you are, what you love, or even where you are from. You may wish to include your name on the back of the Polaroid, but please no contact information as they will be hung for others to see.

Send it to me at:

All entries for the show must be received by June 12, 2026. You may send me more than one Polaroid if you wish, there are no limits. Multiple Polaroids may be mailed in the same package.
